Why we carry this
There are four rifles in this price bracket that will shoot sub-MOA. This is the one we keep recommending, and the reason is the trigger — a genuinely competition-grade unit at a price where everyone else ships something you'll immediately replace for $300. The barrel is the other reason. Cut-rifled, hand-lapped, and in our testing it held its accuracy node well past round counts where we expected drift.
What it isn't: a lightweight hunting rifle. At 11.2 lbs bare it is built to sit still, not to be carried up a mountain. If you want a mountain rifle, look at the Ridgeline Hunter instead.
